Havana Libre Tryp Hotel


The hotel was built as the Havana Hilton with a budget of 24 million dollars under the personal auspices of President  Fulgencio Batista , as an investment in the pension plan of the Union of Cuban Workers, being operated by the  American chain Hilton Hotels  and was inaugurated on  March 22  ,  1958.  It´s one of the most emblematic hotels in Havana, which is located in the heart of Vedado. The hotel, with a majestic heights of 25 floors and 572 rooms, offers impressive views of the city and the sea.

National Museum of Decorative Arts 


It is located in an interesting building in the district of  Vedado , Havana. Inaugurated on July 24  ,1964 , It preserves in its warehouses and exhibition rooms more than 33,000 works of high artistic and historical value, wich come from the reigns of Louis XV , Louis XVI  and  Napoleon III , as well as oriental pieces from the centuries  XVI  to  XX . If you are passing through Vedadoand have time, it is worth visiting this museum, if only to see the building itself, designed by the French architects Virad and Dastugue, surrounded by beautiful gardens with majestic sculptures that complement the tour of the museum.
